Bulbochaete
In Bulbochaete, sexual reproduction is oogamous, with boxlike antheridia or dwarf male plants growing on or near the large, swollen, female oogonia. The resulting zygote is thick-walled and sometimes ornamented.   The zoospores have an apical ring of flagella.
