Rick Canavan

Rick worked in the Laboratory from 1991 to 1994 during which time he completed an Honor's Thesis that earned him the Oakes and Louise Ames Prize at the college.

 

Rick is a senior or co-author on three publications, one of which is a book:

After receiving his Master's in Soil Science at Cornell University in 1996, Rick worked as an environmental scientist for a consulting firm in Massachusetts.

Rick received his Ph.D. in Geochemistry at the University Utrecht in The Netherlands. He worked on a project entitled Trace metal dynamics in freshwater sediments: response to progressive salinization.

He is currently living back in Connecticut and working for an environmental consulting firm.
